Designed for dry rise sprinkler systems, our FS range of air compressors enables the correct and efficient delivery of water for optimal fire suppression to protect your buildings. All of our FS models have been designed to be wall-mounted to free up valuable floor space in your facility. Alternatively, they operate equally as effectively on the floor. Our sprinkler system air compressors work by filling the pipework with compressed air, the pressure of which keeps a valve holding the water back closed.
Our compressors function as automatic fire suppression systems, operating without human intervention or human activation, ensuring the fire can be suppressed as fast as possible. In the event of a fire, the activation of the fire alarm system causes the pressure in the pipes of our FS sprinkler system air compressors to drop. This allows the valve to open and flood the pipework with water in order to extinguish the fire.
How do they ensure controlled oil-free air?
All models in the FS range deliver oil-free air thanks to their advanced, oil-free technology. In particular, the FSB and FSP models both use Bambi’s Vee Twin oil-free pump unit. This allows the fire suppression compressors to deliver the highest possible air quality while operating at one of the lowest noise levels of any oil-free system on the market. This is made possible by the latest ‘tilting piston’ technology.
