We’re pleased to announce that Bambi Air is now certified to ISO 9001:2015 – the global standard for Quality Management Systems – following a successful audit conducted by BSI.
ISO 9001:2015 is the most widely recognised quality framework in the world and achieving it formally confirms what our customers have trusted for decades — that quality, consistency and continuous improvement are built into everything we do.
A successful BSI audit means that our organisation meets and exceeds industry standards in areas such as product/service quality, customer satisfaction, and efficiency; it is also a stamp of approval, representing our full commitment to absolute compliance.
But, for Bambi, this certification represents far more than just air compressor compliance. It also demonstrates:
- Robust, documented processes across the business
- Clear quality controls from design through production
- A commitment to traceability and risk-based thinking
- A culture where every team member contributes to continuous improvement
It also reflects the 47 years Bambi has spent manufacturing compressors in Birmingham with care, skill, and pride, from long-serving colleagues like Stephen — who we celebrated his extraordinary 45-year contribution a few months ago — to the renewed structure and investment since Ben acquired the business in July 2024. It’s simple: ISO 9001:2015 captures both our heritage and our direction. It’s where we want to be, how we’ve got there, and where we are going. We feel this achievement makes things official, representing our values and our unwavering commitment and dedication, whilst also providing the appropriate recognition and confirmation that our efforts deserve.
We’d also like to say a special thank you to Karen Blackburn, who supported us throughout the process with her knowledge and practical guidance.
